The excellent second album by "Us" was on my wishlist already for too long... It's on the same high musical level as its predecessor, and fans of "IQ" certainly will enjoy it. It occurs around once in a lifetime (statistically, not literally) that I select a 25+ minute track as my favorite - but here the miracle happened, which allows some conclusions about the overall songwriting quality of the music. The highlights of the songs are their awesome melodies that go round and round in my head all day long, as well as Jos Wernars' thundering bass guitar, rumbling along in best Chris Squire tradition. The name of the band comes from a Latin expression that means to greater things and in some way it describes the band's attitude and their wish to find a new way by combining vintage and modern sounds. The result of their efforts is very good and their first album is absolutely worth listening to. amico di ieri
Big, clanging psych-rock from this Arizona outfit fuses monk-like vocals with slow-winding guitars for songs that feel like strange hymns. Bandcamp New & Notable May 2, 2016

We'll see if Dan Britton will be able to conclude his ambiguous concept of 7 interweaving albums but so far, he fails to disappoint. So. Lunarians is the other sub-tier (?)/parent (??) album to Oceanarium (the other one was Heliotians)... Whatever, the music is great again :-) Carsten Pieper
